6.6 History Project Part V and Trouble II

WARNING: I'm didn't do so well in researching the slavery part of this. So I did my best
WARING II: MORE BAD LANUAGE
WARNING III: I don't  support spanking

Note:  Just so you know most of my history is accurate except for the countries where slavery got banned,  that's just made-up in the Sims game.

2009
Dear diary, I hate the fact that Selene, my cousin got into trouble twice for reading in the past two months

Both times Selene was to  emerged in the book she didn't see Vienne coming until Vienne was yelling at her.    "WHOM TAUGHT YOU TO READ?!  Selene lied to protect me  and claimed "She taught herself how to read"    Vienne said "Why does a N***R like you need to learn how to read? When I'm finally able to kick you out at either as a sixteen year old or an eighteen year old, all you will be will be a homeless N***R bum on the street with no family, no education, no nothing but the rags I put on your ungrateful back"   Vienne then said "Do NOT LET ME CATCH YOU AGAIN READING OR ELSE YOU'LL GET IT. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"  Selene said "Yes, Ma'am I do"

Over a month later Selene had a break from all her chores and she went into the little nook between the kitchen and the dinning room outside and started to read where Vienne found her and yelled at her again.  and then did what Vienne had threatened to do before  "N***RS LIKE YOU DON'T NEED TO BE ANYTHING BUT CRIMINALS, AND HOMELESS BUMS"

I'm kind of worried what Vienne will doing when Selene is older.  Like will Vienne shackle Selene like the slave owners of old did?  Sorry about that I'm been studying for a month about Slavery. for Grade Four.

HISTORY PROJECT:SLAVERY

From the beginning of human times there has been slavery. Mostly from when tribes or non- tribes like the Romans  in various parts of the world, won other tribes by winning them in wars. .   But when White discovered Africa (again) in the 15th century (fourteen hundreds),  slave trade started to become really bad.  That even Africans themselves to into in it.   That they would capture other Africans (sometimes from rival tribes of their own tribes)  and sell them to potential white traders whom would stick a lot of these Africans in a cramped dirty, deck of their ship and then sailed to, Portugal, Spain, UK, and even to the Americas and then sell them there.

Some lucky slave women got to work in the house. Other slaves viewed  them as  "Negro in the House" and think that they're either the  mistress (or the master's) of the house "lap dog" or even spy.  Some of these slave-women  took care of the children.

Other slaves, both men and women and sometimes even children had to work under the  harsh sun doing whatever the Overseer wanted them to do.  If they even tried to slow down a little.  They get punished.

Slave family weren't safe at all since at any moment one of them or even their children.. even ones not even born yet- could be sold to another owner.  And if they tried to escape, either on their own or with the others, they could be catch and be "sold down the river".  where conditions could be even more harsh.

This lasted until 1837 when the United Kingdoms of Willow Creek and Oasis Springs banned slavery but that didn't stop some slave owners from keeping slave and hiding them from government officials whom stopped by to check on these so-called slave-owners and they never found anything.

Now due to writing that done.  I once again worry about Vienne's plans for when we're teenagers before Selene's sixteen or eighteen years old.  Like I said early shackles or worse?
