7.4. Mean Girls Again

Dear diary,  I'm don't know what I'm going to do with the rumours starting to swirl around HAM. But because I'm in Plastics I have to wear a kind of mask to pretend that rumours don't bother me espcially around Madeline,  Charlene, and Susana but I can be angry in the diary it's my way of unmasking of how I really feel

In English class we're studying Paper Towns and it's quite interesting with the symbolism of broken vessels and us being interconnected pieces of leaves and strings 

After lunch  I went to the bathroom and saw my friends standing around gossiping about HAM.  I got them away by asking if they had seen the  latest episode of "Royal Romance" TV show.   Susana said she missed the previous night's episode so we told her about it.  We then went out for a smoke.. Charlene's father gets her our smokes

After I got home  I looked at the facebook and apparently Charlene was sharing something she heard. 

All this talk about broken vessels and strings and leaves of grass makes me think of Paper Towns.  So I wrote a review of it on my Nerdfighter Voyager

Paper Towns by John Green

After Nine Year olds Quentin and Margo find a “broken vessel” of a body in the nearby park they drift away from each other. Seven years later Margo enlists Quentin’s  help into pulling pranks on people who betrayed her. Quentin thinks after this that their friendship might be returning but the next day she’s not at school and is nowhere to be found.  This makes Quentin obsess over cryptic clues he thinks were left by Margo for him  to try to find her.  

I then went to bed and I had weird dreams of one of my alter egos

On another topic.   King James,  Mom's ex-boyfriend and Aunt Leah's  husband had been putting on Seasonal balls for the young women in the various provinces that make up SimNation.     Some time after I found out about my friends gossiping about HAM that it was HAM and my turn into debuting. 

As we entered the ballroom from the stairs HAM acted really surprised and try to run away from the stairs when she saw Ralph Red on the other side of the ball room. I wonder what is up with that? 

Once I got to the dance floor  Baroness Wade introduced me to her son,  The Honorable  Kendal Wade.  He seems like a great guy. 

Everyone danced and then 

we switched partners 

Some days after the ball - Wade invited me out on a date at a restaurant 

It was great until Wade started to criticize I was too fat and I shouldn't be eating BLT

I forgave him for that and when we left the restaurant I caressed his cheek 

Two days later I was at the library and I had to climb a ladder after I got the book  something happened with the ladder and I started to fall off it.   Luckily Henry was nearby to catch me

THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE by Audrey  Niffenegger  

What would you do if you met your husband before he met you?

 

That's the premise of this romantic but heart-breaking story about a wife, Clare, who like Odysseus' Penelope is always waiting for her husband Henry to return home. Henry has a  gene disorder,Chrono-Displacement Disorder,, which makes him basically an epileptic time-traveler when he is under stress (for example their wedding when he's 31 but an older version had to stand in). Clare first meets him when he's 36 (and already dating her/married to her) but Clare's is only 6. Henry, on the other hand, doesn't meet Clare for the first time until he's 28 and Clare is 20 in 1991. Clare has many off-and-on visits from (the older) Henry throughout her childhood and adolescence until she was 18. After getting married, they try to have a baby but they have some problems and eventually have one child, a daughter Alba. There were parts of the story which are a bit too gory for me.  It does get confusing at times when one chapter Henry with a young Clare and  the Clare who is left behind knows what's going to happen since it already happen to her.  There is a lot of supporting characters but I would love to mention Mrs.Kim,  the feisty Korean Lady who is Henry's dad's landlord and also Henry's semi-caretaker when he's miserable.

 I asked the reviewer what they thought about the scene in the book regarding a Pre-teen Alba vs. the same scene in the movie.   LiterallyOwMuttl89 responded  "I bloody hate that scene!!. I mean the book implies that by the time Alba is a pre-teen there are MORE people with CDD and the movie, not to mention it.. not to mention the fact Movie!Alba literally runs off with her father who traveled from the past (his present) vs. Book!Alba actually informs the teacher about the Dad

That night I want to bed and I had lovely dreams about what I pictured that LiterallyOwlMutt might look like

7.3 Scaredy Chops

Dear diary,  I'm so excited about being in Plastic Jr! squad.  I also feel a bit guilty for betraying HAM but I had to fit in with the Plastics Jr! 

It all started when the Mom, Dad and Granny took HAM and I to a theme park  during the summer and HAM and I rode the Ferris wheel and some other kids' ride but I really wanted to go on the rollercoaster but HAM and my parents didn't.    Madeline and Charlene two of the Plastic Jr girls  came over and said I could go with them on the roller coaster.  So I did 

  I been wanting to go on this ride for YEARS but no one in my family ever wanted to go on it with me  And the Guion family didn't have enough money to go to the theme park so they couldn't go on the ride either.   They refused to let my family pay for the Guion childrens' trip to the theme park. they're too proud. 

But right then I thought I might have new friends that would ride thrill rides with me. 

And I was even more thrilled when i heard that the Plastic Jr could go everywhere on our own.  HAM and I might look like ordinary girls but in reality there's body guards everywhere.  Expect for you know the one time that HAM snuck off and almost got kidnapped. I had to do a Simba and Nala to throw off the bodyguard when I went to rescue her.   

I'm so happy my name isn't spelled Jane Oliva Grace or else the girls would probably bully me too because my name would spell "Jog" 

On the third day of school after school started in the fall  Madeline,  Charlene and Susana  started calling  HAM a "chicken"  

A month later   they're at it again  "Scaredy cat!"  "Chicken"     Then something I couldn't believe came out of my mouth and it was "Chicken how about Scaredy chops? You know because Pork sometimes make pork Chops"  

Dan overheard what I had said and when we got home told Granny Elizabeth and Granny calmly told me off for breaking my promise to her.   And I just waved her off. 

We called her  "chicken"  "Scaredy Cat"  and then called her "Pock chops" every time we saw her which was like every day.  

A couple of days later  Plastics Jr- which I was turning into one as well- said the next day I have 

to actually physically bully  HAM in order to be fully integrated into the group.  I wasn't very hungry for supper so I went to bed early 

I had this weird dream I was outside this dark house and I was much older and was wearing some old Victorian clothing 

I went into the house and was greeted by this strange creature. I heard rumours in town that he had visited my ancestor Clarissa to warn her that "all magic comes with a price" before she did some kind of spell that resulted in her  making the Swanson Legacy. 

He introduced himself as  Rumpelstiltskin and  we talked a bit about how he had actually visted my ancestor Clarrisa and also once called my triple great grandaunt Carly  to him in a dream Carly was having to give  her a warning like the one he was to give me shortly 

"Are you sure you want to continue down this path of being a Mean Girl,  just to be cool and to  fit in?  Like with magic it might come with a price you regret latter"   I replied "Yes, I'm sure I want to go down that path. " 

He tried talking me out of it a bit more and I didn't listen to him so  he said "There's some people in the other room whom you might want to talk too since you might listen to them if you don't listen to me." 

I went into the next room and I meet both Regina and Emma Swans from OUAT (Once Upon a Time)..  Rumpelstiltskin is also from OUAT show.

Regina told me herself  "Rumpelstiltskin is right, turning down the path of badness even the ones of Mean Girls might have something you will pay dearly for when the time comes to collect." 

I  brushed her off too "Come on, what price would 

come from me being a Mean Girl for a short while? I'm going to have to be ruling Windenburg after I get married when I'm older" 

Regina replied "My boyfriend died because of my step-daughter to be  Snow White and because of that I want down the path of Darkness and the last Evil thing I did was to basically kill my father to be able to "win" aganist her and to bring Emma's parents, myself and a bunch of others to the Land without Magic.  You know SimEarth"

Emma said "I was half the Dark One for awhile to try to save Hook from turning into a Dark as Dark One as  Rumple." 

I said "But didn't you have to prevent Hook from knowing that he was immortal and due to Rumple's interfering you had to go rescue him from Hades?"

And then I added "but the actions Rumple, you did, Regina and you Emma- all resulted in all the Storybook kingdoms or realms ending up being a sort of Disney land hiding in the woods in Maine known as the United Realm-so that its not all that bad is it?" 

Emma and Regina then basically said "We give up  but if you change your mind we're here to talk some more"

A child version of their son  (Emma's biological son but Regina's adoptive son  whom is also her step-great grandson -yeah I know it's complicated and it doesn't help the guy in the other room is his paternal grandfather) comes into the room and says "We all have good and darkness inside of us but we also have family whom believe in us."

After that, I woke up to start my day

I went to school with HAM and during lunch time when HAM, the girls and I were in the hallway pushed HAM down and told her that "You're  not my sister and You're not my twin.. and  you're  a scaredy chops""

And the girls applauded me 

HAM POV:  

Now even my twin sister is no longer on my side but to be truthful she hasn't been for awhile, due to me being to chicken to ride that rollercoaster but she KNOWS I throw up if I do stuff like that but it doesn't matter about that 

But this is the last straw she told me "I wasn't her twin" and "I wasn't her sister" and called me a "coward" and a "scaredy chops"   when she was pushing me down to fit in with the "girls" 

And Dan's no use currently because there's talk about sending him into miltary law school once we're teenagers because he technically has nu future in Windenburg as at least a Duke unless he chooses a lesser title when we're older
