Dear Diary I'm really confused about everything that has been happening in the last two days.   I should start at the beginning 

Yesterday Mom took Hailey and I to a Café.  She told us, from then on,  we have to obey Reg, and to refer to him as "You're Grace" and we have to drop out of school, and learn to "be Lady-like" And all of these instructions, also means that we have to change our look as well, and to even bow to Reg.  I wasn't allowed to make jokes anymore even if my dream was to be a comedian.

 

The next day we had to bow to Reg and call him "Your Grace",  Mom for some reason kowtowed to him unlike the royal curtsey that Hailey and I did.   Then we went to  a Beauty salon, and had our hair done, got some new clothes, and some new make-up 

Somehow there was a problem with either my make-up or with my nail polish so I was leaving really late from the Beauty Salon after Mom and Hailey left.  I was in a really hurry to get a bus home (I know, I know, not lady-like),  and I ran into and crashed into Romeo! After he helped me back up he said, he was trying to get away from his dad and was picking up some make-up for his twin sister Kristie.    When he hugged me, he told me to meet me in the Ancient Ruins in our town. 

His Grace, yelled at my Mom for running her good clothes with gardening and that they'll need to hire a gardener for Mom's garden.     Then Mom, Hailey and I made supper.  We made BLTs but not only did His Grace, yelled at Mom for letting us make "unhealthy, and unladylike food"  but literally chocked and slapped her in front of us.  

That night I went and met Romeo in the Ancient Ruins. I knew from heresy that my great-grandparents Hannah and Jacob met here frequently when they're dating in secret much like what Romeo and I are doing.    I started complaining  about what a wicked step-father that Reg turned out to be and it was only a matter of time that either, Reg would become abusive to me and Hailey and/or to marry us off and attempt to have a son to inherited the Swanson Estate under HIS name and not Mom/ours.  We then had this idea that in a couple of days time to have Hailey meet Romeo here, and say I will meet him at Anneorine's  temple in Willow Creek and we'll take it from there. 

After that Romeo cheered me up by showing me parts of a dance he had to learn as the Dauphin. Which some part of me somehow knew. We then lit a flying lantern and then let it go. I think my great grandparents did the same thing when they're our age.  We now have officially started dating 

I then snuck back into the house and Hailey demanded to know where  I was and she had been covering for me.  She claimed to Mom and "his Grace" that I was at my last school event that I had paid for before "HIs Grace" had me and Hailey to drop out of school. And "His Grace believed her."  I then told her "Hey you rememebr last year when you knocked on our shared door?"  Hailey said "Yes I do, What about it?"   I said "Well, I had actually be taking to someone."   Hailey then asked "Whom is it?"  I said "The Dauphin Romeo. We been secretly dating since that night." I then mentioned "I told Romeo about our problems and what we think that you-know-whom might try to do to us. And I told him, that in a couple of nights, you will meet up with him, and tell him to meet me at the Anneorine temple"  I then finished and said "Thanks for covering me"   

The next morning Mom Hailey and I started making a Grand Breakfast for breakfast of pancakes and something else.  But "His Grace" hated the high fat content of the breakfast and yelled at Mom again.   I then practiced piano for a bit  

Then "his Grace" tried to teach Hailey and I have to do actually ballroom dancing with our male cousins Jude's and Reed's help  bur the boys kept messing up the steps that "His Grace" was trying to show us.  He dismissed the boys, and told us to "Stop fooling around" like it was OUR fault for the boys' "messing up" when they're the ones fooling around not us.  And I even told "His Grace" that to his face, and he didn't want to listen to me and said "Women should be seen and not heard" and once he got us married off,  we have to obey our husbands.   And he then reveled there's going to be an engagement ball for me in a couple of nights' time.  To someone I haven't even met yet.  He has already picked out a husband of HIS choosing for me. 

Both Hailey and I were shocked by this news, and we talked about maybe moving up the meeting of Romeo to inform him about the upcoming problem.  Hailey said "we shouldn't do that, and keep to the plan mostly, but tomorrow she will meet Romeo and give an invitation to "His Grace" ball for me.
