4.7 Catfight

 

1985

I'M AM SO ANGRY AT EVERYONE. MY SISTER, MY MOTHER,  MY NOW EX-BOYFRIEND. 

It all start 16 hours ago at our high school's semi-formal.  For some reason Cora decided to get a dress and hair style identical to mine  (That FEMALE DOG but I will get there). I went with my boyfriend Blaine, of course.  And there were some other people there as well. Anyway, Cora, Blaine and I stopped to get a bite to eat.  I for some reason start to feel ill so I went to the bathroom.

When I returned from the bathroom I found Wyatt and Cora kissing.  Apparently my boyfriend, Blaine mistaked her for me and kissed her.    I'm so mad at Cora so I flicker her on the nose and the next thing I now we're in a catfight for the next several minutes.  Then our distant cousin  who is the new principal after Mr. Grant got fired for the incident with Elliot came in and took us to the principal's office.  She rants at us for a few minutes and then after asking me for my sister of the story and then said "I'm suspending both of you for three days" 

I somehow broke my arm in the fight so after both Cora and I went to the hospital and then we went home when Mom yelled at me for "dating a boy behind her back" and "I was betrothed"  I had no idea what she was talking about.  

She then took me to the our private room (Grandma's old art studio) and she explains "Its time to tell you"

I angery interrupted her "Why didn't you tell me this before I was dating Blaine? You had plenty of time!" 

Mom continued: 

"Back when the Woods moved into town, Aunt Rain came over and talked to me about betrothing you and Wyatt together.  Her reason was simple, she had supscions that Wyatt might not be straight  but know his Dad would want a more traditional straight marriage. I agreed and then the next day I checked with the matchmaker but she checked her cube and then left mysteriously without telling me why upset. " 

I said "Fine, I will marry Wyatt, but I'm not going to be happy about it. I do it for your sake and Aunt Rain's sake. But it's means I have to break up with Blaine, I was going to anyway after what happened tonight"  I also added "What you said explains why we haven't seen Wyatt in years.. apparently until now he's been away at special kind of 'school' since the rumour is he came out to his parents and his Dad send him to this school for several years." 

 Mom was please I was going to do  the right thing

I then broke up with Blaine and then I went to write this and I was interputted by my baby brother Julian who told me the whole reason tonight happened was because Cora had been posing as me for the entire time when she been sending me on fake errands.  

4.6 Jealously

 Dear diary, I'm impressed and not impressed at the same time.  I'm conned Blaine into thinking I'm my twin, Elizabeth.  I should start at the beginning

I always had a crush on Blaine.  But I guess no one told me that my twin sister, Elizabeth was dating him.   I only discovered that one day in the winter I had come home and changed and discover the two of them kissing together.  

I had always dreamed of marrying him.  I don't think that Elizabeth should be able to marry him and not me.    its unfair I'm one of the few people not paired up.  Even my brother Elliot is paired up, to be fair, that's one of the two arranged marriages we know of in the family. Our cousin Raven Grant is also pairing up,  When I try to advance on Blaine he rejects me since he's deeply in love with Elizabeth.

Our other relatives- Cousin Esmerdla  and our distant Cousin Queen Mave Goth  and once I again I get rejected by Blaine,  and even our baby brother is pairing up and he's young.. but he's the other arranged marriage in our family. That we know about. 

Even our family's rivial house of Bergjsens, at least one of their kids is pairing up.  As is someone in  the Calentine househood.  It's seem unfair, I'm one of the few people not paired up. 

So I came up with this plan that I heard that the Berjsen children would be in the Oasis spring to do something bad to the Landgrabbies. So I send Elizabeth there. When she was away I dressed like her and when I was getting done  our baby brother Jullian showed up and said,  "let me come on your date!" (he know I wasn't Liz).  I said "No"  But then he had a temper tanrum he then said "If you don't allow me to come, I will take Blaine, or our parents, you're impersonating your twin!".  So I allowed him to come on the date.   It was a lovely row in a row boat. 

Some weeks later I told Elizabeth that I heard that the mean girls from school were going to do something bad to one of the Grant girls, so once again, Elizabeth fell for it.  And I had to take Julian along iwith me again. Just to prevent him from spilling the beans.  This date was going fishing Julian loved it and I got to have Blaine's arm around my shoulder.
